Earth Hour is a worldwide movement by World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), as a symbol of our commitment to keep this planet. Earth Hour invites people in this Earth to save energy just for 1 hour at 08.30-09.30 pm, on every Saturday in every last week of March.

Every year, SCORP CIMSA FK UNPAD has always held a campaign as a proof of our support to this movement. This year, SCORP CIMSA FK UNPAD held a campaign named “EARTH HOUR 2017: LET’S TAKE AN ACTION!” In this campaign, we asked all people who lived in at Bale Padjadjaran to turn the electricity off, especially for the lamp, for just an hour in two days.  On Friday, March 24th 2017 together we turned off the lamp and other electricity goods at 09.00-10.00 pm. And for the last day or  the day of Earth Hour 2017, Saturday, March 25th 2017, we turned off at 06.30-07.30 pm.

We also did air campaign for this campaign! We suggested every student in FK UNPAD, especially CIMSA member, to post a photo with instruction holding a flared candle in the darkness. In addition, the photo must be posted with twibbon and caption provided by SCORP CIMSA FK UNPAD.

Through Earth Hour 2017, we hope your awareness to minimize using electronic goods is increased. To keep this planet safe, for us and for our future generation.
